D.I.Y. Printable Bridesmaid Card Tips

So glad you found us and love our printable bridesmaid cards! If you’re looking around, like “Hey, what cards is she talking about?” – go grab your D.I.Y. printable bridesmaid cards. They’re a sweet treat for joining our community. It’s quick and easy to print these beautiful cards, using these simple instructions you’ll be ready to give them to your bridesmaids in no time.

First you need to download the version you’d like – or both! There are two options, one is our exclusive illustration of bridesmaids in soft blush dresses along with our handcrafted pearl accessories. Don’t they look ready to slay the wedding day?! The second version, perfect for a bridesmaid proposal, says ‘I can’t say “I do” without you’.

Open them with a pdf file reader, like Adobe. There are free pdf readers available online if you don’t already have one installed. (Google on, chica!)

The cards are formatted to print two per page, so you can easily print them on a full sheet of paper using your home printer or you can always take them to your local print shop. They can cut them too.

Let’s talk about paper! These look best printed on cardstock paper which comes in weights from 50lb to 110lb. The higher the paper weight, the thicker the paper.  Most home printers can accommodate 65-80lb papers, which are a medium thickness. If you’d like thicker paper, save yourself from the hassle of paper jams, and have a local printer do it for you.

Keep in mind, thick paper equals a nice feeling, quality card. If you like the look of the ones above, that’s 80lb cotton rag paper.  Similar to all those beautiful invitation suites on Pinterest and Instagram!

Once you’ve printed the sheet with 2 cards on it, fold it horizontally to create a center line. Cut along the center line; using a paper cutter is easiest. Then fold in half and personalize your message for your bridesmaids.

To present the cards, put them in A2 sized, notecard envelopes (4.25”x5.5”).  Using envelopes that are your wedding colors is a fun way to make them more personalized. For a touch of romantic prettiness, try pressed flower paper envelopes.

Use these cards for your bridesmaid’s proposals, as thank you notes and along with gifts. They go so well along with our jewelry and hair accessories, don’t you think?
