Gold Wedding Accessories for a Fine Art Bride
The saying ‘timing is everything’ could be the driving force behind this gorgeous bridal shoot. This inspiration was supposed to be photographed in a garden venue, but then the pandemic changed plans. While this shoot was on pause, I took advantage of the time and began designing in gold. First came the delicate beaded leaf hair pin set and then I started creating gold, pearl petal earrings to coordinate. I’ve been creating custom accessories in gold for brides and have wanted to add it to my collection, so I took this opportunity to get started. When it was time to send these pieces off I felt they were the perfect handmade gold accessories for a fine art bride; the detail loving lady.
This inspiration shoot took place in a state park in Monterey, California. The golden grass and lush evergreens at sunset created a setting that beautifully complimented the curated wedding details. From the asymmetrical bouquet flowing with garden roses and ranunculus to the soft tulle detailed gown, each element was feminine and timeless.
Finely handcrafted wedding details, like the butterfly adorned stationery and calligraphy add whimsy and notable style. It’s always great to see my own designs along side other handmade bridal accessories, especially when they are as gorgeous as these lace rose heels from Bella Belle. It’s good to be in the company of great art!
Sadly, shortly after this photo shoot, the area was affected by wild fires. A reminder that all life’s precious moments can be fleeting. I’m so grateful to have these images and honored that this gorgeous bridal shoot has been featured in Magnolia Rouge, a fine art wedding inspiration blog.
