Whimsical Garden Inspired Hair Accessories

I spent my time during the pandemic doing some Marie Kondo style cleaning my house and no area was safe, not even the studio. During my studio cleaning and rearranging I discovered, or should I say rediscovered, some amazing beads. I often keep supplies for future projects and then totally forget their existence. I know I am not alone in that!

As the cleaning projects winded down and I had creative time in the studio, I allowed myself to step outside my usual design simplicity, try some new techniques and what developed was a collection of whimsical hair accessories. My discernible, light and airy style can still be found in each of these unique, handcrafted hairpieces.  While a few are certainly perfect for a walk down the aisle, most can be added to any hairstyle that needs an ethereal touch.

As they often do, the spring flowers blooming right outside my studio window inspired these pieces. I literally watched the flowers grow this year, an enjoyable experience that has just increased my love of flowers. A clean studio, new designs and a flower garden; the silver lining to so much time at home. I hope you enjoy this mix of hair accessories as much as I enjoyed creating them.
